About Mediation
Board Members
The MSSA board consists of a group of dynamic professionals from diverse backgrounds that identified the need for a vehicle through which mediation can be solidified as a profession on equal footing with other professions in the field of dispute resolution, through outstanding levels of training and development, and efficient self-regulation. The MSSA will assist the industry by expanding the reach of mediation and upholding continuous professional development.
The MSSA board members identified shortcomings with relation to collaboration and support for mediators in various areas of dispute resolution, and wish to address this limitation by taking hands with role-players within different spheres, including government and academia.
Every member’s contribution to the board ignites and stokes the passion that we need in South Africa to resolve disputes in a more humane and civilised, that was part of our dream to build a peaceful nation.
